Impressions from my trip as a member of the Educational Research Delegation to the People's Republic of China, August 31 - September 11, 2010
My Itinerary
I am extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to travel to China again with the People to People Citizen Ambassador Program. Our 20 member delegation of professionals working in various aspects of education research will visit a variety of early childhood, elementary, middle and high schools, as well as numerous colleges of education and universities, where we will engage in dialogue with our Chinese peers.
Time and energy allowing, I'll try to share a bit about some of the experiences along the way, and certainly some photos of the fascinating places we'll be visiting.
Here's a quick overview of the itinerary:
Aug 30: Hartford to Dulles to San Francisco
Aug 31 - Sept 1: San Fransico to Beijing
Sept 1-5: Beijing
Sept 5-8: Xi'an
Sept 8-11: Shanghai
Sept 11: Shanghai to San Francisco to Charlotte to Hartford (one very long day)
